Why Do We Do This?

(Because, seriously,

why
wouldn't we?)

We believe that everyone who wants to learn should have that opportunity.

We often rely on the kindness of the most fortunate of our close friends to assist those who would not otherwise be able to afford dancing school. We receive private donations to help fund our school.

The gift that was given to Sammie at age 10, a scholarship from Miss Marie, is still given today. We have the Joyce Scholarship available to those who need it. Joyce is Sammie's late grandmother who raised 8 children, including her first born son, Sammie's late father Ernest Conklin.

Absolutely NO ONE is turned away for their inability to pay for dance. We believe that if we take care of our students and their families, there will always be a way for everyone to dance.

If you are in need of a partial or full scholarship, please email us privately with your request at sunflowersinrazorwire@gmail.com
